QA/QC Engineer – Suppliers (Inspection & Expediting)

About the role

We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer – Suppliers (Inspection & Expediting) to ensure supplier performance, quality and delivery across EPC projects. The role will be the single point of accountability for assigned purchase orders, coordinating inspection and expediting activities to meet project requirements and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all shop expediting and inspection activities in support of the Lead Shop Coordinator.
• Manage interfaces with the project team for assigned purchase orders and resolve issues impacting supplier performance.
• Define inspection and expediting levels based on project criticality analysis.
• Monitor vendor production schedules, analyse monthly progress reports and identify critical paths and risks.
• Organise hand‑over meetings, attend expediting and inspection meetings and produce required reports.
• Maintain the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) register, vendor inspection schedule and inspection notifications log.
• Compile inspection reports (IRN/IRR) and track closure of non‑conformances.

Required profile

• Experience in QA/QC, inspection and expediting within EPC or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of supplier quality management and project documentation.
• Ability to analyse progress data, identify risks and communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
• Proficiency in preparing and maintaining inspection registers and reports.
