Purchasing Manager – Primary Flight Controls

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Purchasing Manager (Buyer) to lead procurement activities for Primary Flight Controls within its Equipment Systems A‑F Team in Toulouse. You will shape the supplier landscape, negotiate contracts, and deliver innovative, cost‑effective solutions for critical aircraft systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define, negotiate and manage contracts throughout the full product life‑cycle.
• Ensure compliance between contract terms and supplier/Airbus activities.
• Lead commercial negotiations, including Calls for Tenders.
• Develop end‑to‑end business solutions for primary flight‑control components.
• Collaborate with global suppliers and align with internal stakeholders such as Programs, Supply Chain, Engineering, R&T, Legal, Finance and Customer Services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in aerospace equipment and systems procurement.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work in a technical, innovative environment and handle complex commercial negotiations.
