Public Sector Consultant

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Public Sector Consultant to support its AI research lab partners by reviewing and improving public‑sector and legal documents. The position is fully remote and operates on a contract basis, offering flexible, asynchronous work.

Key responsibilities

• Review domain‑specific documents for quality, accuracy and relevance.
• Provide structured feedback to raise document standards and ensure compliance with public‑sector and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align documentation with regulatory guidelines.
• Apply analytical skills to contribute to high‑impact evaluation projects.
• Work independently to meet project deadlines and deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum).
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a relevant public‑sector, legal or consulting domain.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word.
