Project Manager – Mission Critical Data Centres

About the role

The client is a global leader in mission‑critical consulting and project delivery, supporting hyperscale, colocation, cloud, financial services and telecommunications organisations. Based in Paris, the Project Manager will lead the delivery of consultancy and commissioning projects for data‑centre facilities, ensuring they meet contractual, programme and commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from award to completion for mission‑critical consultancy and commissioning engagements.
• Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining communication throughout the project.
• Develop execution plans, delivery programmes and resource allocations.
• Coordinate commissioning managers, engineers and technical specialists to achieve project milestones.
• Oversee project budgets, forecasting, invoicing and financial performance.
• Monitor progress, risks and deliverables, ensuring contractual compliance and quality standards.
• Prepare and present progress reports to clients and senior management.
• Support proposal development, tender submissions and project planning activities.
• Lead kick‑off meetings, planning workshops and client review sessions.
• Manage change requests while preserving commercial control.

Required profile

• Organised, commercially minded Project Manager with experience delivering complex engineering or technical projects.
• Proven track record managing engineering, construction, consultancy or commissioning projects.
• Experience in the data‑centre or mission‑critical sector is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience handling project budgets and financial performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
