Production Coordinator

About the role

Production Coordinators at One of Us are central to visual‑effects project management. Working closely with the VFX Producer and Line Producer, they support artists and help work flow through the pipeline, playing a key role in delivering projects on time and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive weekly targets set by the Line Producer and VFX Producer.
• Arrange, attend and manage briefing meetings and turnovers with VFX Supervisors and artists, ensuring all briefing notes are shared.
• Provide artists with clear schedule information and accompany supervisors during daily rounds, communicating feedback and updated briefs.
• Monitor artist activity, report progress to the Line Producer or Producer, and organise dailies and client review sessions.
• Maintain asset and shot status, track progress against schedules and keep the production database up‑to‑date.
• Keep supervisors and artists informed of client notes, shot changes and brief updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a Production Assistant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of the VFX production process from concept to completion.
• Familiarity with post‑production pipelines, techniques and software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, high attention to detail and a collaborative, enthusiastic attitude.

Required skills

• ShotGrid software (essential).
• Google Suite and Microsoft Suite, especially spreadsheets (essential).
• Basic editorial knowledge (desirable).
• Basic Linux knowledge (desirable).
