Product Manager, Editing Foundations

About the role

We are looking for a Product Manager to own the editor that every Photoroom user interacts with on iOS, Android, Web and API. You will shape the core visual editing experience, turning AI‑generated content into fine‑grained edits for photos and videos. The role sits in the Product Foundations team, focused on building unified, high‑performance editing tools for e‑commerce sellers.

Key responsibilities

• Own single‑ and multi‑image editing experiences end‑to‑end across iOS, Android, Web and API.
• Integrate visual editing within chat flows, enabling a seamless transition from AI generation to detailed edits.
• Define user problems, partner with design and engineering, and ship solutions that feel effortless.
• Stay close to users by regularly observing e‑commerce sellers and feeding insights into the roadmap.
• Use data (crash rates, latency, cross‑platform parity) to form hypotheses, measure outcomes, and prioritize next steps.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product management experience with multiple successful launches.
• Experience owning a creative product surface such as an editor or canvas.
• Daily use of AI tools (e.g., Claude) for prototyping, testing, or automation.
• Strong product taste with a track record of detail‑focused decisions.
• Ability to create clarity from ambiguous problems and act independently.
• Data‑fluency: comfortable pulling, interpreting, and challenging data.
• Thrives in small, high‑autonomy teams and can operate in a remote, async‑first environment.
