Product Design Manager

About the role

Pennylane is looking for a Product Design Manager to shape the experience of millions of entrepreneurs and accounting firms across France and Europe. You will lead a team of product designers, mentor them, and collaborate closely with engineering and product partners to deliver seamless, user‑centric solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Scale and develop a team of five product designers, partnering with HR and other design leaders to hire and retain talent.
• Identify strategic UX opportunities, drive research initiatives, and translate insights into actionable product improvements.
• Measure design impact on business performance and guide critical strategic directions.
• Establish and evolve design processes, ensuring consistency, speed, and alignment with Jobs‑to‑Be‑Done and business goals.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and proficient in English.
• Proven track record leading product design teams, preferably in B2B environments.
• Experience working directly with C‑level executives and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to simplify complex topics, present decisions confidently, and foster an inclusive design culture.
