Procurement Specialist

About the role

Alma is looking for a Procurement Specialist to own and scale its mature procurement function as the company expands across Europe. You will work autonomously on strategic sourcing projects, negotiate contracts, and drive supplier performance to support rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end tender processes (RFQ/RFP) across all spend categories.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, SLAs, payment terms and exit clauses.
• Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking to ensure competitive positioning.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to select suppliers based on data‑driven criteria.
• Support all departments with procurement advisory, process guidance and hands‑on sourcing assistance.
• Manage Payflows workflow, ensuring compliance with spend thresholds and approval processes.
• Serve as the primary procurement contact for operational teams and external partners.
• Oversee relationships with top suppliers (≈80% of spend), monitor performance and address service issues.
• Maintain contractual compliance, manage renewals, amendments and terminations.
• Partner with Legal to keep an up‑to‑date contract repository.
• Drive continuous improvement, develop analytics and reporting for spend visibility, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement negotiations and supplier management.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to turn spend data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Familiarity with procurement processes, tools and compliance requirements.
