Process Engineer – Manufacturing (m/f)

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join its Manufacturing Engineering department in Toulouse. You will work within a cross‑functional team responsible for the definition, transfer and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes related to workload off‑loading.

Key responsibilities

• Define and document the Build Process, including routings, bills of materials and standard work instructions.
• Manage production transfer activities, ensuring technical sequencing, cost and time estimates from subcontractors are validated.
• Identify bottlenecks, monitor maturity KPIs and propose corrective action plans while assessing industrial and budgetary impacts.
• Resolve complex technical production issues in machining and sheet‑metal work and audit the capacity and skills of external suppliers.
• Act as the primary interface between Manufacturing Engineering, production, quality and subcontractors, participating in SQCDP, MPS and PPS routines.
• Travel regularly within France and abroad as required.

Required profile

• Degree or specialization in production engineering, aeronautical maintenance or industrial engineering.
• Proven experience in Manufacturing Engineering, preferably in the aerospace sector.

Required skills

• Manufacturing process definition and documentation.
• Design of industrial files: routings, bills of materials, standard instructions.
• Technical sequencing and cost‑estimate validation.
• KPI monitoring and bottleneck analysis.
• Machining and sheet‑metal work expertise.
• Capacity and skill auditing of external suppliers.
• Familiarity with SQCDP, MPS and PPS management routines.
