Process Chemistry Team Leader

About the role

Join Servier’s Bolbec site, a strategic chemical production and R&D hub, to lead a team of about ten scientists in designing, optimizing, and scaling synthetic processes for future drug candidates. You will work at the interface of R&D and industry, contributing directly to the development of innovative therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Drive scientific and technical activities to deliver material from gram to kilo scale for pre‑clinical and clinical studies.
• Foster a culture of excellence, encouraging innovation while supporting the technical and human development of the team.
• Contribute to CMC strategies, manage internal projects and external partnerships (approximately 60% external).
• Ensure timelines, costs, and quality standards are met for all deliverables.

Required profile

• PhD in Organic Chemistry or an Engineering degree in organic chemistry.
• Solid expertise in synthesis and process development; experience in a CMC environment is a major asset.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to set a clear vision and gain technical legitimacy.
• Agile, tech‑savvy, and fluent in English to thrive in an international context.
