Privacy Intern

About the role

Join Asendia’s Risk, Compliance & Cybersecurity Department as a Privacy Intern, reporting directly to the Group Data Protection Officer. Based in Paris, you will collaborate with subsidiaries across the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Benelux and the Nordics to support the 2026 privacy roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in updating the Record of Processing Activities (RoPA) by mapping, assessing, and documenting personal data processing.
• Contribute to Privacy by Design initiatives and draft Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) where required.
• Review supplier contracts, draft Transfer Impact Assessments (TIA) and support cross‑border data transfer compliance.
• Help respond to data subject rights requests and participate in incident response for personal data breaches.
• Support ad‑hoc projects such as Third‑Party Risk Management within the Risk, Compliance & Cybersecurity team.

Required profile

• Pursuing a graduate degree (Bac +5) in digital law, data protection law, or new technologies law.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong interest in emerging technologies and data privacy.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality of work.
• Proven ability to adapt and collaborate within a team environment.
