Principal Consultant – PLM Architecture

About the role

We are looking for a Principal Consultant to lead functional PLM architecture initiatives. You will act as the functional authority for PLM transformation programs, shaping business processes, product lifecycle workflows, and solution designs across platforms such as 3DEXPERIENCE and Siemens Teamcenter.

Key responsibilities

• Define end‑to‑end functional architecture for enterprise PLM implementations.
• Translate business, engineering and IT requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.
• Own functional artifacts including business process flows, capability models, and product data structures.
• Design and optimise engineering, product development and manufacturing processes enabled by PLM.
• Lead as‑is / to‑be process mapping and define target operating models.
• Establish product data models, governance principles and lifecycle management processes (ECN/ECR, configuration, BOM).
• Define functional requirements for integrations with ERP, MES, ALM and CAD systems and validate data flows.
• Engage with stakeholders, facilitate workshops and support delivery teams with functional guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience in PLM consulting, functional architecture or implementation.
• Strong functional expertise with 3DEXPERIENCE and/or Siemens Teamcenter.
• Proven experience in business process design for engineering or manufacturing environments.
