Press Officer (Remote, France)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Press Officer to lead media relations and enhance our public presence. This fully remote position within France offers the chance to craft compelling stories, build strong journalist connections, and support our communication strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and external stakeholders.
• Draft press releases, media statements, speeches, and other communication materials.
• Coordinate media outreach and support press campaigns.
• Monitor media coverage and produce reports on public perception and engagement.
• Support internal and external communication initiatives.
• Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Manage crisis communication when necessary.
• Maintain media databases and communication documentation.

Required profile

• 1–5 years of experience in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related role.
• Proven experience in media relations and press communication activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of digital communication and media trends.
• Self‑motivated and effective in a remote work environment.
• Based in France with legal authorization to work full‑time.
