Press Officer – Remote (France)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Press Officer to lead media relations and support our communication strategy from a fully remote setting in France. The role combines storytelling, relationship building with journalists, and the creation of impactful press materials.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets and external stakeholders.
• Write press releases, media statements, speeches and other communication assets.
• Coordinate media outreach and support press campaigns.
• Monitor media coverage, analyse public perception and produce regular reports.
• Assist internal and external communication initiatives and ensure consistent messaging across teams.
• Collaborate with marketing and leadership to align communication efforts.
• Manage crisis communication when required.
• Maintain media databases and documentation.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of experience in public relations, communications, journalism or a related field.
• Proven experience in media relations and press activities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working remotely and based in France with legal authorization for full‑time work.
