About the role

Quintessence AI is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to investigate the societal impacts of artificial intelligence and digital technologies. You will join an interdisciplinary team that blends psychology, statistics, philosophy, and computer science to develop pioneering research approaches.

Key responsibilities

• Design and conduct original research projects on AI‑mediated social interactions and online misinformation.
• Collaborate with scholars from diverse disciplines to create transdisciplinary methodologies.
• Publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
• Contribute to the creation of dissemination materials aimed at policymakers, industry, and the public.
• Support the development of practical applications that mitigate emerging digital risks.

Required profile

• PhD in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, social sciences, philosophy, statistics).
• Strong interest in the societal implications of AI and digital technologies.
• Proven ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
