Postdoctoral Researcher in Psychology and Public Health

About the role

The University of Nantes is seeking a motivated post‑doctoral researcher to lead the scientific evaluation of the “Dilemme” program, an adolescent addiction‑prevention initiative delivered in French schools. The role combines quantitative research, data management, and collaboration with health‑student teams across three regions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the controlled experimental protocol with longitudinal follow‑up.
• Perform quantitative data analysis to assess program impact on adolescent substance use.
• Coordinate data collection activities and liaise with partner institutions.
• Develop and maintain evaluation tools and documentation.
• Write scientific papers and contribute to peer‑reviewed publications.
• Participate in scientific communication activities, including conferences and workshops.

Required profile

• PhD in psychology, public health, or a related discipline.
• Experience evaluating public‑health programs, preferably in addiction prevention.
• Familiarity with school‑based interventions targeting adolescents.
• Strong scientific writing skills and ability to publish research findings.
