Plant Manager

About the role

Reporting to senior leadership in an international matrix environment, you will own overall site performance. You are responsible for operations, people leadership, execution of the business plan and continuous‑improvement initiatives while fostering a culture of safety, quality, customer service, accountability and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day plant operations and site leadership teams.
• Improve industrial performance and operational effectiveness.
• Strengthen management structure, team ownership and accountability.
• Support customer satisfaction with a proactive commercial mindset.
• Drive new product introductions, process improvement and KPI discipline.
• Support technology deployment and cross‑site collaboration in an international setting.
• Contribute to strategic planning, investment priorities and long‑term growth.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Significant experience in plant, manufacturing or industrial operations, preferably in aerospace or other high‑tech material sectors (composites, plastics, metals).
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, KPI management and industrial standards, combined with financial acumen and profitability orientation.
• Mature, hands‑on leadership style with ability to develop teams and manage change.
• Proven ability to work effectively in an international, matrix‑based organization; fluent English and multicultural adaptability.
