Plant Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Plant Manager to lead a manufacturing site of approximately 100 employees producing high‑performance refractory ceramics. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, ensure product quality, and support the company’s growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all manufacturing functions including production, maintenance, planning, quality, methods, industrialization and purchasing.
• Lead site‑level management rituals, reporting and KPI tracking for senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and internal standards.
• Develop and engage teams, fostering skill growth and organisational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Finance to drive financial performance and prepare regular performance updates.
• Strengthen continuous‑improvement initiatives and support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certifications.
• Lead modernization, automation and investment projects, including the pursuit of public funding opportunities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Logistics or equivalent experience.
• 7–10+ years of experience in industrial operations with significant responsibility.
• Strong expertise in SQCDPE, Lean/Continuous Improvement and manufacturing process optimisation.
• Proven ability to manage flows, supply chains and working capital.
• Demonstrated leadership of direct and indirect teams, with strong financial acumen.
• Skilled in change management, adaptable and results‑oriented.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English.
