Plant Business Finance Manager

About the role

As the Plant Business Finance Manager for the Global ETO plant in Chartres-de-Bretagne, you will act as a strategic business partner to the plant leader. You will be responsible for monitoring and improving the financial performance of customer projects, manufacturing efficiency, and overall plant profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the plant leader and cross‑functional teams to drive financial performance of the Engineering‑to‑Order business model.
• Monitor project revenue, margin, and cost targets; provide risk analysis and corrective action plans.
• Ensure accurate and timely Group reporting, audits, and compliance with IFRS and internal controls.
• Maintain and improve financial tools such as ROI, IDB, inventory benchmarks, and cost‑to‑tender processes.
• Oversee cash‑flow forecasting, medium‑term risk identification, and cash‑management follow‑up.
• Lead variance analysis between actuals and forecasts, delivering clear insights to entity management.
• Support the launch of new products by tracking cost versus target and managing costing derogations.
• Coordinate with front‑office, execution centers, and Schneider Digital on Group projects like EPM and Unify.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of finance experience, preferably in plant controlling or project controlling.
• Proven experience in change‑management initiatives.
• Fluency in French and English.
