Part‑time Hybrid Software Engineer / Developer

About the role

This part‑time hybrid position in Paris focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining back‑end services and APIs. You will work both on‑site and remotely, collaborating with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver incremental improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable back‑end services and APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Write clean, testable, and well‑documented code following best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot issues in development and staging environments.
• Participate in continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and improve development workflows.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in computer‑science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Experience in back‑end web development and building robust services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, part‑time setting and communicate clearly with cross‑functional teams.
• Professional proficiency in English; French is a plus.

• Object‑oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
