Part‑time English Teacher for Children (Le Bouscat)

About the role

We are looking for an energetic part‑time English teacher to join Kids&Us in Le Bouscat. You will deliver extracurricular English classes to children aged 1‑18, working after school, on Wednesdays and Saturday mornings, and attend preparation meetings on Tuesdays.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lessons using Kids&Us’ curriculum, including music, games, stories and arts‑and‑crafts.
• Monitor each student’s progress and provide feedback to guide them toward their learning goals.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with students, their families and fellow staff members.
• Participate in weekly preparation meetings and complete required reports.
• Maintain a safe, fun and engaging classroom environment.

Required profile

• Positive, “can‑do” attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Organised, reliable and flexible with working hours.
• Previous teaching experience with children.
• Advanced or proficiency level in English (C1‑C2), native or bilingual.
• Resident of Le Bouscat or nearby area, EU citizen or holder of a valid French work permit.
• Freelance/auto‑entrepreneur status (possibility of CDI after a period).

• Part‑time contract (≈10 hours/week) starting September/October as maternity‑leave cover.
• Hourly rate of €23 for teaching and €18 for preparation/extra activities.
