PA / RAMS Engineer – Space Programme Assurance

About the role

You will join an industrial service team supporting the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA). The position is responsible for Product Assurance (PA) and RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) activities for the Galileo and EGNOS programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the EUSPA PA / RAMS function and lead RAMS Working Groups.
• Review RAMS documentation for milestone reviews.
• Share knowledge with Service Design and Validation teams.
• Maintain and control the RAMS baseline with agency members and external partners.
• Support launch schedule, end‑of‑life planning and continuous improvement of EUSPA’s product assurance.
• Provide inputs for KPI data compilation and ILS (spares) management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Space Systems Engineering, Quality Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the space industry.
• Experience designing and engineering safety‑critical systems in large programmes.
• Hands‑on knowledge of RAMS analyses, methodologies and tools throughout the project life‑cycle, especially during operations.
• European citizenship and strong English communication skills.
