Operational Performance Partner

About the role

INSPIRED Pet Nutrition is looking for an Operational Performance Partner to join its factory team in Pléchâtel. This role blends finance expertise with hands‑on manufacturing insight to drive performance improvement and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with factory leadership to develop reporting that informs decision‑making.
• Analyse cost drivers (labour, materials, fixed costs) and explain performance variances.
• Define and maintain KPIs that give clear visibility of factory performance.
• Identify trends, root causes and efficiency opportunities through data analysis.
• Challenge performance constructively and work with teams to implement improvement actions.
• Improve reporting processes to ensure accuracy and relevance for site leaders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and capital planning in collaboration with operational teams.
• Collaborate with finance and operational colleagues across the UK and France to share best practices.
• Maintain a strong on‑site presence to understand processes and build relationships.
• Present insights clearly, turning complex data into actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of factory cost structures and financial performance.
• Ability to work closely with operational teams and influence improvement initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
