About the role

The company is looking for a CNC Operator/Setter to work on a temporary full‑time basis in Nancy, France. The position involves operating CNC machines on a 3 × 8 hour shift schedule from Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Develop machining ranges and create CNC programs.
• Set up machines according to specific parameters and adjust settings before production.
• Perform frequent quality checks and self‑control to prevent issues.
• Launch test series of parts and ensure production cadences are met.
• Complete and update documentation such as plans and work orders.
• Study and analyse manufacturing documents (plans, work orders).
• Carry out first‑level machine maintenance and upkeep.
• Communicate instructions to the next workstation.

Required profile

• Experience in an industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of selecting and mounting appropriate tooling.
• Proficiency with measurement and control devices.
• Understanding of CNC programming languages; familiarity with Heidenhain is a plus.
