About the role
We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Operator to join a railway client in Châtillon, France. The role involves maintaining TGV train sets, focusing on the air‑brake distribution system. The position is a one‑month temporary assignment through an agency.
Key responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on TGV carriages, specifically the air‑brake distribution equipment.
- Carry out corrective repairs to ensure safe and reliable brake operation.
- Follow scheduled work shifts: 7:48‑11:45 and 12:30‑16:18.
- Document maintenance actions and report any anomalies.
Required profile
- Basic qualification (BEP or CAP) in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Entry‑level candidates are welcome.
- Ability to work autonomously and with rigor on industrial equipment.
- Previous experience in mechanical maintenance is a plus.

What we offer
- Hourly wage between €14 and €15.
- Full‑time schedule of 35 hours per week.
