Oil and Gas / RPAS Aviation Auditors (any Bases)

About the role

AEROTHRIVE is seeking experienced aviation auditors to support its global client base in the oil & gas and unmanned aircraft sectors. Auditors will work on projects worldwide, performing on‑site or remote assessments of helicopter, fixed‑wing and drone operators.

Key responsibilities

• Audit compliance with IOGP aviation guidelines (Report 690/590), BARS, SARPcheck, CAP 437 and relevant RPAS regulations.
• Assess Safety Management System (SMS) maturity, helideck operations, training programs, base safety and flight/technical records.
• Conduct field or remote audits of helicopter, fixed‑wing and RPAS service providers.
• Prepare structured audit reports with practical findings and risk‑reduction recommendations.

Required profile

• Significant experience in aviation safety, operations or airworthiness, preferably in offshore or energy‑sector aviation.
• Operational or managerial background in flight operations, engineering or UAS integration.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
• Audit training or certification (e.g., ISO, BARS, IOGP, RPAS/ASTM).
