Multiprogram / Hazmat ECPFs and MRO Certification Qualification Engineer

About the role

Join Airbus Helicopters in Marignane as a Certification Qualification Engineer (CQE) supporting French Legacy helicopter programmes. You will work within the Initial Airworthiness Department, focusing on certification and qualification of retrofit projects and hazardous‑material replacement programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Validate compliance with FAR27/CS27 and FAR29/CS29 for new designs and retrofits.
• Lead certification activities for structures, engines, hydraulic and fuel systems, flight controls, landing gear, cabin and cargo arrangements, mission equipment, weapon systems and software upgrades.
• Manage multiprogram and Hazmat ECPF (Equipment Change) projects, coordinating with internal teams and civil/military authorities (EASA, DGA, UK MOD, etc.).
• Identify affected airworthiness requirements and propose Means of Compliance.
• Collaborate with Design Office Certification Verification Engineers to harmonise certification strategies.

Required profile

• Confirmed CQE with experience in aircraft certification and retrofit programmes.
• Strong understanding of French Legacy helicopter families (Alouette, Gazelle, Colibri, Ecureuil, Dauphin, Puma, Super Puma).
• Ability to work across multiple interfaces and manage complex technical documentation.
