Modern Workplace Engineer (Azure & Okta)

About the role

As a Modern Workplace Engineer you will join Betclic’s Technology Department to design, integrate and improve cloud services, identity solutions and internal tools. You will work primarily with Microsoft Azure, Okta, SaaS integrations and AI‑powered tools while building automations that boost operational reliability and the employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Azure infrastructure, ensuring availability, performance, security and cost efficiency.
• Integrate applications into Okta, configure SSO, MFA and provisioning using SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SCIM.
• Connect AI solutions to internal applications and data, build prototypes and move them into production with proper safeguards.
• Develop scripts, connectors and APIs (PowerShell, Python) to automate onboarding, off‑boarding, reporting and other workplace processes.
• Provide advanced technical support for cloud, identity and workplace tools, diagnose incidents and drive user adoption.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in systems engineering, modern workplace or cloud platforms.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and Okta, and solid understanding of IAM concepts (SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM).
• Proficient in scripting (PowerShell or Python), API integration, Git and best practices for code versioning and security.
• Fluent English, autonomous, pragmatic and able to communicate technical topics clearly to non‑technical users.
