About the role

The consultant will deliver advisory and technical inputs to advance the International Methane Emissions Observatory’s work on engaging fossil‑fuel stakeholders in Australia and the surrounding region.

Key responsibilities

Develop an engagement plan to increase fossil‑fuel stakeholder participation in Australia.
Provide strategic advice and documented feedback on stakeholder engagement to address specific needs.
Create outreach and briefing materials to promote engagement with the fossil‑fuel sector and governments.
Collect and document feedback on technical materials for the sector.

Required profile

Master’s degree or equivalent in energy, environment, management or a related field.
Senior‑level experience in corporate decision‑making on climate change.
Senior‑level experience in oil and gas production and operations.
Proven results in building networks, community engagement and social innovation.
