Medical Lead - Telemedicine

About the role

Alan is building a new standard in prevention insurance and needs a senior medical professional to lead its telemedicine offering. As Medical Lead, you will shape clinical practice across teleconsultations, medical chat and AI‑driven care, ensuring high‑quality, patient‑centred services at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and manage a remote‑first team of 50+ health professionals, primarily GPs, across multiple geographies.
• Establish a feedback culture with peer reviews, case discussions and continuous improvement processes.
• Set up medical governance, including clinical committees, incident management and compliance with national guidelines.
• Define telemedicine protocols that balance medical excellence, patient experience and cost‑effectiveness.
• Monitor clinical performance, define outcome metrics and drive value‑based healthcare initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary medical teams in a telehealth or digital health environment.
• Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality and safety standards.
• Ability to work remotely with distributed teams and foster engagement around shared outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with operations, product and engineering partners.
