Medical Lead - Telemedicine

About the role

Alan is looking for a Medical Lead to drive its telemedicine offering across multiple countries. You will head a remote‑first team of more than 50 health professionals—including GPs, specialists, nutritionists, midwives and physiotherapists—ensuring high‑quality, value‑based care through teleconsultations, medical chat and AI‑supported services.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and manage a distributed team of 50+ clinicians, fostering engagement and shared outcomes.
• Establish a feedback culture with peer reviews, case discussions and continuous improvement processes.
• Set up medical governance structures, clinical committees and incident‑management procedures.
• Develop and maintain protocols aligned with national guidelines and Alan’s member‑first mindset.
• Define telemedicine guidelines that balance clinical quality, patient experience and cost‑effectiveness.
• Monitor clinical performance, define outcome‑based metrics and drive improvements across the care pathway.
• Collaborate closely with Operations to ensure service excellence and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading clinical teams, preferably in a telemedicine or digital health environment.
• Strong medical background (GP or specialist) with deep understanding of value‑based care.
• Demonstrated ability to manage remote, multi‑disciplinary teams across different geographies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
