Medical Director, France (PDx Portfolio)

About the role

GE HealthCare, a leader in pharmaceutical diagnostics for medical and molecular imaging, is looking for a Medical Director to lead the medical strategy and activities for its PDx (Pharmaceutical Diagnostics) portfolio in France. The role ensures the safe, effective and appropriate use of diagnostic products in French clinical practice and works in a matrixed environment with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Quality, Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the France medical strategy, translate regional and global strategies into market priorities and KPIs, and lead the annual budget and business planning
• Provide scientific leadership for Medical Affairs, including input on lifecycle management, evidence needs and labelling
• Profile French Key Opinion Leaders and HCPs, and lead the stakeholder engagement, strategic congress and medical communication plans
• Engage with KOLs, medical societies, hospital networks, health authorities and ministries of health, and represent the company at scientific meetings
• Lead or chair Medical Advisory Board meetings and ensure compliant, evidence-based scientific exchange with HCPs
• Oversee external scientific materials and publications, and prepare and review scientific presentations
• Identify local evidence gaps and support investigator-sponsored research and post-marketing studies
• Line-manage France Medical Affairs, Medical Information and Pharmacovigilance roles, giving direction, objectives and performance oversight
