Mechanical Design Engineer – Strasbourg

About the role

Lines Manufacturing is seeking a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join its technical team in Strasbourg. You will work on the development of innovative process‑related systems and contribute to the continuous improvement of existing machines in a fast‑paced, high‑precision environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D to develop new products and mechanical concepts.
• Source and manage procurement of mechanical components and machine systems.
• Define and implement assembly procedures in coordination with workshop teams.
• Design new innovative systems, especially for process‑related applications.
• Supervise machine assembly, ensuring technical and functional compliance.
• Identify and implement measurable improvements to existing machines.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in machine tools or industrial machinery.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Structural Engineering or a related field.
