Marketing Apprentice – 12‑Month Trainee Position

About the role

Exide Technologies is seeking a motivated Marketing Apprentice for a 12‑month apprenticeship. The role supports the Marketing and Communication Manager on French and European projects, bridging automotive and industrial markets with B2B initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Translate and adapt product and sales materials for French automotive and industrial teams.
• Update French and English website content and support digital channels.
• Provide operational marketing support for French automotive aftermarket (POS, private label, campaigns) and industrial events.
• Create European product communication assets for the automotive aftermarket.
• Assist in preparing management presentations, reports, and administrative tasks such as purchase orders and invoices.

Required profile

• Student enrolled in a B.A. or Master program in Business Administration, International Marketing or a related field.
• Interest in automotive and industrial B2B markets.
• First exposure to operational and digital marketing activities.
• Fluent French speaker with good English proficiency.
• Hands‑on, organized, proactive, and comfortable handling a variety of tasks.

Required skills

• Microsoft PowerPoint
• Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP functions)
• Microsoft Word
• Basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign
• Experience with web content management systems, preferably Drupal
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation
