Market Lead – La Réunion

About the role

Deblock is building the first on‑chain, non‑custodial bank and is looking for a Market Lead to drive growth in La Réunion. Reporting to the Founders and VP of Marketing, you will be the operational engine and local face of the expansion, turning strategy into on‑the‑ground results.

Key responsibilities

• Localise the global growth playbook, set KPIs and own the end‑to‑end roadmap for market development.
• Manage on‑the‑ground operations, including VISA card logistics and partner onboarding.
• Identify, pitch and close strategic partnerships with local retailers and distribution platforms.
• Build trust architecture by securing credibility with partners, consumers and local stakeholders.
• Represent Deblock at community events, partner meetings and press engagements.

Required profile

• Hands‑on operator with strong organisational and process‑driven mindset.
• Analytical rigor: ability to define clear KPIs, track performance and build supporting models.
• BizDev DNA: proven experience opening doors, building pipelines and converting relationships into commercial partnerships in Saint‑Denis, Saint‑Pierre and Saint‑Paul.
• Operational versatility: comfortable managing logistics, card distribution and negotiating contracts.
• Bonus: prior fintech or consumer product scaling experience and a network of contacts in local retail, media or payment platforms.
