Manager, Delivery Solutions Architects

About the role

Databricks is looking for a Manager, Delivery Solutions Architects (CSQ327R106) to build and lead a team of Delivery Solution Architects (DSAs) in the Southern Europe, Israel, Middle-East and Africa region (France excluded). The DSAs work with Sales, Pre-Sales, Field Engineering and Partners teams to shape post-sales delivery strategy for major customers and guide complex customers toward maximum platform value and ROI. The role reports to the SEMEA SSA & DSA leader and sits in Milan, Paris or Madrid.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, coach and support a diverse team of DSAs to achieve customer, company and team goals (usage growth, career growth and hiring)
• Use AI tooling to deliver C-level thought leadership discussions with customers
• Assign accounts and distribute work so that customer coverage and team balance are optimal
• Partner with Sales, pre-sales and FDE teams to accelerate customer growth
• Help reduce customer risk and support the team with escalations
• Monitor customer progress and forecast growth
• Improve internal processes and customer success offerings, and promote cross-functional programs, plans and documentation

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in a customer-facing role
• Experience leading a team of pre- or post-sale consultants, solution architects, technical account managers or customer success engineers
• Experience delivering workloads or data products into production, e.g. as delivery architect, project manager, DevOps or service/product owner
• Fluent Italian and English; additional regional languages are an advantage
• Commutable distance to the office in Milan, Paris or Madrid

• Italy pay range of EUR 134,400 to 184,800
