Manager de Rayon PGC – Hypermarché

About the role

The PGC (fast‑moving consumer goods) department manager leads a key area of a Carrefour hypermarket, ensuring that the grocery aisles meet customer expectations for availability, quality and price. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing a team of associates, and maintaining a pleasant shopping environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the PGC department, including merchandising, stock replenishment and shelf presentation.
• Set and monitor sales targets, analyse performance data and implement corrective actions.
• Manage inventory levels, coordinate deliveries with suppliers and oversee shrinkage control.
• Recruit, train and develop department staff, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and Carrefour standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail management, preferably within a hypermarket or large grocery format.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Good understanding of PGC product range and market trends.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
