Maintenance Support Engineer – Aircraft Operability

About the role

ATR is looking for a Maintenance Support Engineer to lead operator support on maintenance technical data, coordinate subcontractor activities and drive improvements across the Operability & Technical Data department.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operators with support on maintenance tech data and related products.
• Lead maintenance support activities, managing a subcontracted team and controlling request handling.
• Trigger updates and improvements of Tech Data, ensuring compliance with ICA regulations.
• Coordinate operability improvements arising from operator requests.
• Manage Advanced Copies and Temporary Revisions of technical documentation.
• Participate in user testing of Tech Data tool evolutions.
• Organise semestrial ATR Tech Data Connections with internal and customer teams.
• Develop new services around tech data and foster external partnerships.
• Act as backup for Tech Data Configuration & Finalization activities.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent university training.
• At least 5 years of experience in the aeronautical industry, specifically in engineering and support.
• Strong knowledge of Tech Data usage for line‑maintenance manuals (MIPD, AFI, AFR, MP, WD).
• Familiarity with the S1000D technical data format.
• Basic understanding of the Airbus SAP Tech Data production environment.
• Proactive, autonomous and customer‑focused attitude.
• Fluent in English and French (Italian a plus).
