Logistics Coordination Engineer

About the role

Vulcain Engineering Group is seeking a Logistics Coordination Engineer to ensure smooth transport and logistics execution on complex industrial projects. You will act as the central hub between suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams, guaranteeing data accuracy, procedural compliance, and on‑time deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport activities, manage interfaces with suppliers, purchase orders and logistics providers.
• Administer transport contracts, issue RFQs and transport instructions (Release Notes, Release to Forwarder).
• Track pick‑ups and transport operations end‑to‑end, ensuring proper documentation.
• Collect, review and update logistics documentation such as packing lists, export control certificates and transport drawings.
• Maintain logistics data in the material management system and handle shipping documentation for imports and customs.
• Monitor data quality, prepare approval forms, update logistics reports and validate freight forwarder invoices.
• Evaluate supplier and freight forwarder performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent in logistics, supply chain or industrial engineering.
• At least 10 years of proven experience in logistics coordination, transport engineering or EPC project logistics.
• Strong understanding of transport procedures and documentation requirements.
