Local SEO Account Manager – Client Success & Growth

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Local SEO Account Manager to drive client success and growth for a portfolio of small‑business customers. You will be the primary point of contact, guiding clients through onboarding, strategy, and performance reporting while ensuring they achieve measurable visibility and lead generation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end onboarding for new local business clients, setting clear expectations and establishing service processes.
• Serve as the main liaison for clients, handling communications, strategy discussions, and ongoing relationship management.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports covering rankings, traffic, leads, and campaign outcomes.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to expand client value through additional SEO, advertising, or content services.
• Monitor client satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and implement preventive actions to maintain high retention.
• Coordinate with internal SEO, project management, and delivery teams to ensure timely execution of client strategies.

Required profile

• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with a customer‑first mindset.
• Experience in account management, customer success, business development, or agency‑side client services.
• Sales‑oriented attitude with the ability to spot growth opportunities.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of handling multiple accounts simultaneously.
