Legal Counsel – Commercial & IP Focus

About the role

Free2move is looking for a dynamic Legal Counsel to support its rapidly expanding Carsharing business. Reporting to the General Counsel & DPO, you will provide pragmatic, business‑friendly advice on commercial, marketing and intellectual property matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate B2C and B2B commercial agreements, including terms of use, payment solutions and partnership contracts.
• Ensure marketing activities comply with consumer protection and advertising regulations for promotions, competitions and communications.
• Manage trademark filing, monitoring, protection and licensing for the Carsharing brand.
• Collaborate with Public Affairs to negotiate licences, operating permits and agreements with cities and public authorities.
• Mitigate financial and contractual risks and advise business teams on mobility regulations.
• Update legal templates, streamline contracting processes and deliver legal training to business and marketing teams.

Required profile

• Master of Laws (LL.M or equivalent) in Business, Commercial, IP/Marketing or Digital Law.
• 2‑5 years of experience in an in‑house legal department or law firm with strong exposure to commercial and contract law.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and French; German is a plus.
• Hands‑on, proactive attitude with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of B2C/B2B contract law.
• Expertise in consumer and advertising law.
• Experience with intellectual property, especially trademarks.
