Legal Counsel – Central Europe (Netherlands focus)

About the role
Qonto is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide day‑to‑day legal support across its fast‑growing Central European markets, with a primary focus on the Netherlands. You will work closely with local teams to de‑risk operations, enable market growth, and support partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary legal point of contact for the Netherlands, delivering timely, high‑quality support.
- Partner with the Senior Legal Expert to handle strategic legal matters for Germany and Austria.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and ensure compliance of new local products.
- Provide clear legal analyses to unblock business initiatives safely.
- Manage pre‑litigation and litigation matters to protect Qonto’s interests.
Required profile
- Legal degree with relevant experience in commercial and product law.
- Proven ability to deliver pragmatic legal guidance in fast‑moving environments.
- Experience handling disputes and corporate formalities across multiple jurisdictions.
