Learning Solutions Director

About the role

The Learning Solutions Director will shape and execute Nexans' global learning strategy, partnering with operational, business and HR teams worldwide. Reporting to the VP of Talent Learning & Development, you will lead a small, high‑impact team to design, deliver and continuously improve learning programs that support the company's growth and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, launch and maintain transformational learning programs, including global onboarding, compliance, digital transformation and functional academies.
• Act as a business partner to key functions (Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, Purchasing) to identify learning needs and source or build appropriate solutions.
• Own the executive leadership development program, ensuring smooth execution, participant satisfaction and iterative improvement.
• Manage the digital learning ecosystem, overseeing the LMS/LXP (Cornerstone OnDemand) and digital learning libraries.
• Promote the use of rapid digital authoring tools to address local learning requirements and benchmark emerging best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in learning and development, preferably in a multinational industrial environment.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on measuring learning impact.

• LMS (Learning Management System) administration
• LXP (Learning Experience Platform) management, specifically Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD)
