Lead Rust Developer – Satellite Security Platform

About the role

CYSEC is seeking a Lead Rust Developer to design and build high‑performance software for its satellite VPN platform. You will work on everything from low‑level protocol architecture to production deployment, ensuring robustness, efficiency and security across satellite links.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high‑performance systems in Rust, from protocol design to production.
• Optimize network performance (throughput, stability, resilience) over satellite links.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to enforce strong cryptographic and security standards.
• Drive architectural improvements and contribute to product evolution.
• Support integration and deployment of satellite communication systems.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Expert‑level Rust (systems programming, async with Tokio), strong Linux knowledge, and advanced networking expertise.
• Proactive, ownership‑driven mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
