Lab Test Means Integration Engineer (m/f)

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft seeks a Lab Test Means Integration Engineer to join the Flight and Integration Test Centre in Toulouse. You will develop, test and deploy instrumentation components for avionics test rigs across multiple facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, execute and document hardware/software testing and deployment activities for test components.
• Define technical deliverables, manage purchase orders for subcontracted test and deployment work.
• Update test matrices, identify and escalate project risks and opportunities.
• Perform defect analysis, implement test bug fixes and suggest improvements for integration test benches.
• Harmonise test procedures with facilities in Filton, Hamburg and Bremen.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in lab test means or instrumentation.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical test system interfaces (racks, connectors, cabling).
• Solid understanding of standard avionics protocols and signals (ARINC429, AFDX, discretes, analog, CAN).
• Foundational IT skills including networking, computing machines and cybersecurity rules.
• Basic programming knowledge and intermediate level of English.
