Key Account Manager – Industrial Sector (France)

About the role

Our client, a leading French industrial group specialized in plastic products, is expanding its commercial organisation within the Industry division. Reporting to the Industry Sales Manager, the Key Account Manager will own a portfolio of strategic accounts in France and abroad, driving growth and strengthening long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the key‑account strategy defined with commercial leadership.
• Build structured account plans covering objectives, growth levers and innovation road‑maps.
• Lead contract negotiations with senior stakeholders and craft tailored commercial proposals.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market share, volume and margin.
• Collaborate with field sales, marketing and technical teams to meet account targets.
• Coordinate client projects, ensuring accurate CRM updates, dashboards and sales forecasts.
• Represent the company at trade shows, client events and strategic meetings.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in commerce, management, industrial engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Key Account Manager, Senior Sales Engineer or in a strategic account role, preferably in the industrial or plastic packaging sector.
• Proven track record in complex negotiations and key‑account sales techniques.
