Junior Business Development Manager – Remote Sites

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Business Development Manager to join Newrest’s Remote Sites Development team in Toulouse. Reporting to the Group Sales Director – Remote Sites, you will help expand Newrest’s presence in the oil & gas, mining and energy sectors by identifying new opportunities, managing tenders and building long‑term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new clients in target industries (on‑shore/off‑shore oil & gas, mining, energy, engineering & construction).
• Maintain and grow Newrest’s visibility with major international contractors and operators.
• Lead the preparation of tender responses, coordinating technical, financial, legal and HSE inputs.
• Negotiate commercial terms, finalize contracts and support contract mobilisation.
• Monitor project start‑up performance and ensure early‑stage client satisfaction.
• Track contract performance, operational KPIs and financial ratios with on‑site teams.
• Gather market intelligence and contribute to the growth strategy for remote site services.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of experience in business development, sales or a related field.
• Strong interest in the catering, facility management or energy sectors.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Required skills

• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
