Junior Business Development Manager – Life Sciences

About the role

Novoptim is seeking a Junior Business Development Manager to support its Life Sciences and Healthtech clients. Based in Paris, you will work closely with CEOs and C‑level executives across Europe and the US, building a portfolio of biotech, SME and start‑up customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business and marketing plan to acquire new prospects and expand the client portfolio.
• Engage top decision‑makers (CEOs, C‑level) to understand their needs and pain points.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and the CEO to design suitable methodologies and prepare commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with the Delivery Team to follow up on sold projects and ensure successful implementation.
• Participate in training and coaching programmes to enhance sales and industry knowledge.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (MSc or PhD) in a scientific or business discipline.
• Motivated, rigorous and eager to work at the intersection of business and science.
• Fluent in English and French; additional European language is a plus.
• Accountable, adaptable, resilient and passionate about sales in the life‑sciences sector.
