IT Legal Counsel – Cloud & AI Services

About the role

Scaleway is looking for an IT Legal Counsel to support its rapid international expansion and the launch of new Availability Zones. You will work closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Sales, and Purchasing to ensure the legal security of our sovereign cloud and AI offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and monitor a variety of contracts related to cloud, AI, and IT services.
• Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on regulatory compliance, data protection, and commercial matters.
• Support the development and implementation of legal policies for new product launches and geographic expansions.
• Collaborate with the compliance/GDPR specialist to ensure data privacy obligations are met.
• Monitor changes in relevant legislation and advise the business on potential impacts.

Required profile

• Law degree with a focus on IT, technology, or commercial law.
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating contracts in a tech environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing, AI services, and data protection regulations.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, international team.
