Investment & Strategy Associate Manager

About the role

Dedale is seeking an Investment & Strategy Associate Manager to conduct deep fundamental research and strategic due diligence on software and technology companies. The role combines quantitative modeling, qualitative insights, and collaboration with experienced ex‑Tier 1 consultants to support multi‑million investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep fundamental research on software & technology companies.
• Perform strategic due diligence and financial analysis on publicly listed and privately owned software & technology firms.
• Leverage quantitative modeling and qualitative insights through expert interviews.
• Collaborate with peers and ex‑Tier 1 management consultants to produce high‑quality deliverables.
• Monitor identified companies daily and prepare financial research, strategic screening, and communication materials.

Required profile

• Tier 1 engineering or business school graduate (Business, Corporate Finance, Engineering, Strategy).
• 4‑6 years of experience in strategy and business, with internships in finance/tech/startup or corporate environments.
• Excellent analytical abilities and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong verbal presentation skills and ability to create compelling slide decks.
• Strategic thinking with the capacity to identify key inputs and smart correlations.
• Fluent English; additional languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian) are a plus.
